"We live in League City and are the parents to our 5 year old son and 3.5 year old daughter. Our son needed occupational and speech therapy at the age of eighteen months beginning in 2019.
We navigated through the Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program as well as private therapy. It was during this "adventure" for nearly three years that we realized the challenges parents face, whether due to proximity, availability or approach.
We saw the need for a pediatric therapy clinic providing an integrated approach to the developmental needs of children. Our goal in opening AKT is to provide a place for parents and children to feel welcomed, supported and encouraged."
